LOVED this spot. Came alone, stayed a long time. Head downstairs in the Roxy Hotel and you'll find this jazz spot tucked into the corner near the theater. Cover fee tends to be around $35 for performances and there is also a two drink minimum. If you like the jazz, this is a fantastic spot as the acoustics and setting are fantastic. You'll find very talented jazz performers here - check their social media or website for who's playing.

This place was the highlight of my wife and I's trip to NYC. The ambience is second to none, really giving the vibes that you stumbled into something special. (And you did!) The staff was super friendly and about as chill as could be. I could see people getting annoyed at how relaxed everyone was, but if that's you maybe stay away from jazz clubs? I chatted it up with everyone - including the musicians, and everyone was a delight. The cocktails were all delicious, with the tropical take on the old fashioned (the melodique) being one of the most unique takes on the classic i've ever had. The atlantic cod was absolutely delicious, and the bacon mac and cheese was INCREDIBLE. I don't order mac n cheese that often, but when i do it's usually strangely disappointing. Not so here. The music was incredible, and has me looking up jazz clubs in my home city!

I sat at the bar I had just left Dizzy's and was there for the music. Although i did cheat & had desert the CHOCOLATE POT DE CRÈME so yummy with a glass of champagne. Hey thats how I tool. my bartender was great very cool, young, handsome & professional. Now for the ambiance & music. LUTHER S. ALLISON QUARTET was just off the charts. Luther S. Allison is a multi-instrumentalist specializing in both piano, drum set, composer. Stanley Ruvinov base, Hank Allen-Barfield drums all great musicians. Now, people I just can't say enough about James Haddad his trumpet player, composer, and arranger from Brooklyn, New York. He is Fantastic! The only negative point I have about the club basically it's audience is that they're not respectful to the musicians. A young crowd that can't shut up while the set is on. I had just came from Dizzy's and headed to Django, lets just say that does not happen at Dizzy's They'll come over & tell you to please stop talking really people it was ridiculous.
